SAGE Pet Caregiver Support Group

  • Our partners at SAGE offer a free Pet Caregiver Support Group to any one of their clients. The group facilitator is veterinary social worker Chelsey Nisbet, MSW, ASW.

  • The group offers a safe place for individuals and families to express their feelings and talk about their experiences related to the care of a pet who is receiving ongoing treatment for any illness, or for those who have experienced the loss of a pet. This group takes an open discussion format, with no set program or agenda. Some find it helpful to attend every month, while others come just once. Each family’s journey with an ill pet is uniquely personal and all are supported. Register to attend a session today!
